Who it suits

Writers, journalists, editors, communications and media professionals, and anyone who wants a confident typographic CV with personality.

Gazette uses two columns, which makes supporting details quick to scan. Some applicant tracking systems read columns in an unexpected order, so if you are uploading to an online portal, compare it with a single-column template such as Clarity or Linear.

Its creative styling works best when design sense is part of the job, or when you send your CV directly to a person. For formal sectors, a quieter template may be the safer choice.

Gazette does not show a photo, which matches the usual expectation for CVs in the UK, Ireland, the US, and Canada.

Your information, your order

Add or remove entries, move sections, and keep only what matters for your application. Empty sections stay out of your CV, and longer documents flow across multiple pages.

Pick one of ten accent colours, choose your own, or keep the template’s. You can also switch between a sans and serif body and tighten or open up the spacing. You can switch templates in the editor without losing your details, and preview every page before downloading your free PDF.
