About Folio. A useful tool, with a person behind it.

A free CV maker built around a simple idea: presenting your experience well should be straightforward, accessible, and private.

Your next chapter
deserves a clear start.

Folio is an independent CV-making website maintained by Muhammad Mubashar Shahzad, a frontend developer based in Pakistan. It brings templates, editing, file imports, previews, and downloads together in one place.

The goal is practical: help you turn your own experience into a readable document, understand the choices you make, and keep control of your information. You can start blank or bring an existing PDF or DOCX, then review every detail yourself.

All 40 templates and PDF downloads are free. There is no account requirement, payment step, or watermark. Your CV is processed in your browser, and you choose whether to save a draft on your device.

Codewire Solution

Frontend Developer

Built and maintained responsive web interfaces with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Vue.js, collaborating with teams and clients on practical requirements.

This background is provided by the maintainer. Folio is an independent project; the organisations mentioned here do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Built from
practical experience.

The maintainer’s project experience includes field-management dashboards, an expense-sharing mobile application, hospital-management interfaces, business websites, and a news-site dashboard.

That work involved responsive layouts, API connections, forms, authentication flows, and making information easier to navigate. Those are useful foundations for a CV editor where readable output and clear controls matter.

What you can expect.

  • Control over your details

Imports, editing, previews, and PDF creation happen on your device. Saving a draft is an explicit choice.

  • Design choices with a purpose

Compare the actual layouts, change colour and spacing, and check the PDF before downloading.

  • Honest guidance and limits

Folio helps you present your experience. It does not promise a job, recruiter approval, or a particular applicant-tracking-system result.
