Tips for writing a care assistant CV
Lead with your values
Care employers often recruit for values first. Show kindness, respect, and reliability through a real example in your profile rather than a list of adjectives.
List your training and checks
Mention the Care Certificate, any adult care qualifications, moving and handling, medication training, and your DBS check if you have one. These details often decide who is invited to interview.
Include unpaid caring experience
Looking after a relative or volunteering in your community is relevant experience. Describe what you did and what you learned, and keep personal details private.

This example uses the Linear template (plain text hierarchy, no decoration). Its simple styling keeps attention on your content and prints clearly in black and white. You can switch to any of the 40 templates in the editor without retyping, and change the colour, font, and spacing.
